Orange County is home to the second largest population of Iranians in the United States. Hengameh Abraham is the Iranian Outreach Chair for the Republican party of Orange County, she immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 14 and this week she joins Karyn Bower and Negar Vahabi to talk about her own encounter with the morality police before leaving Iran at age 14, how the Iranian Revolution in 1979 is connected to the 2022 protests that began after the death of Mahsa Amini, why this is different from the protests in 2009 and the Green Movement, and more.
