Trouble in the Culture

This week on OC In Focus, Karyn Bower and Alena Hernandez interview student filmmaker Jamal Brown to discuss hip hop culture, the importance of mental health as filmmaker and actor, the challenges of student filmmaking, and more. Brown wrote, starred, edited, wrote and performed the music for his short film, Trouble in the Culture, which was screened at the 2022 Newport Beach Film Festival.
