Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis [ALS]; also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease is a degenerative disease that usually attacks both upper and lower motor neurons and causes degeneration throughout the brain and spinal cord. The ALS Orange County Chapter supports 160 families who have a family member with the disease.
